The variance concerns their attempt to put a single family house on a residential corner lot. The lot is 50' wide and was platted before the current lot sizes and setbacks became effective. That has caused this lot to be substandard or nonconforming as it relates to the lot width. On the Planning Commission agenda I have proposed an exception for the zoning ordinance to address this concern. The proposed variance is 12.5 feet on the street side/side yard setback.
