RES NO 02-06-2023 CITY OF VAN BUREN,ARKANSAS RESOLUTION NO.(,-dA 2023 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS,A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED: A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF STEVE BEAM CONSTRUCTION, INC, FOR THE AZURE HILLS-FIR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Van Buren has advertised for bids concerning the Azure Hills-Fir Drainage Improvements; and WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened in accordance with Arkansas law and Steve Beam Construction, Inc., is the lowest bidder meeting the bid specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF VAN BUREN,ARKANSAS,THAT: SECTION 1: The City of Van Buren, Arkansas accepts the bids of$224,889.00, for the Azure Hills-Fir drainage project, as set forth in"Exhibit A" attached hereto. SECTION 2: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Van Buren to pay all street project expenses,not to exceed the amount of the low bid submitted, as set forth in"Exhibit A" attached hereto.
