ORD NO 19-1999 CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS
9 ORDINANCE NO. -1999
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 7 -1963 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Fay and Imogene Sirmon have submitted a Petition to rezone property
with the following legal description:
The West Half, South Half, Southeast Quarter, Northwest Quarter, Sec.
12, T -9 -N, R -32 -W, Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas, containing
10.0 acres more or less.
Otherwise known as 2615 Fayetteville Road.
from R -3 to C -2; and
WHEREAS, Notice of Public 1- tearing has been published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, The Public Hearing has been held as required by law; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission recommended said zone change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: THAT the above described property is hereby rezoned from R -3 to C -2
and the Van Buren Zoning Map is amended to reflect this rezoning.
