HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION MINUTES
Match 12, 2020
The Van Buteu Historic District Commission held its monthly meeting on 'Thursday, March 12, 2020 at S:M
P.M. in the City Council Room of the Municipal Complex. Members Present: Chairman Vickie Davis, Vice
Chairman Derald Porter, Paul Gibson, Lonnie London and Steve Edwards. Others present: Rusty Myers
Chairman Vickie Davis called the meeting to order at 530pm, the fn-st item on the agenda was to approve the
minutes from the last meeting. A motion was made by Paul Gibson and seconded by Lonnie London to
approve the minutes. The motion was approved unanimously.
Nest item on the agenda was die COA, Center for Axts, Rusty Myers, 400 Main Stteet, fox color and
windows to be approved. Rusty Myers, CAE, spoke to the commission about the winclows and colors. A
motion to approve the COA was made by Lonnie London and seconded by Derald Porter. The motion was
approved unanimously.
Next item was Fox COA, Lary Breeden, 409 Main Stteet, Fox construction approval. Mx. Breeden will return
to the commission for approval of historic colors, once they are selected. A motion was made by Derald
Porter and seconded by Paul Gibson to approve die construction plans for 409 Main Street. The motion Nvas
approved unanimously.
The next item was for CAMP training cancellation due to the CON ID-19 breakout.
A motion to adjoicxn was made by Lonnie London and seconded by Paul Gibson.
