RES NO 12-04-2003 l•1 CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS RESOLUTION NO. 1 2 I -2003 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE INCENTIVE PAY PLAN FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, The current incentive pay plan for the fire department needs to be brought up -to -date with current requirements for fire training; and WHEREAS, A public hearing has been held and the Civil Service Commission has recommended changes to the current incentive pay plan; and WHEREAS, The City Council believes that said changes will benefit the fire department and the citizens of the City of Van Buren. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: That the Incentive Program for the Fire Department adopted pursuant to Resolution No. 3 -6 -1985 is hereby abolished and replaced by the Comprehensive Pay Incentive Program of the Fire Department attached hereto. SECTION 2: All current employees shall receive a copy of the revised policy. SECTION 3: The new program shall go into effect immediately upon passage of this Resolution.
