0 ORDINANCE NO. 10 -2004
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 7 -1963 FOR THE PURPOSE
OF REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF VAN
BUREN, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Mary Kay Dutton has submitted a Petition to rezone property with
the following legal description:
Part of the East Half (1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (1/4), the
Southwest Quarter (1/4) of Section 12, Township 9 North, Range
32 West, Crawford County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said E 1/2, SW
1/4, SW 1/4, thence North 313.0'; thence N 89 °38 "E, 294.4'; thence
South 313.0'; thence S 89 °38'W, 294.4' to the Point of Beginning,
containing 2.12 acres more or less
from R -1 to R -3; and
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing has been published as required by law;

WHEREAS, The Public Hearing has been held as required by law; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission recommended said zone change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: THAT the above described property is hereby rezoned from R -I to
R -3 and the Van Buren Zoning Map is amended to reflect this
rezoning.
