RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON A PETITION TO CLOSE A EASE-
MENT IN THE CITY.OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS
RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS
THAT:
THAT, a public hearing be held to vacate an easement located and being:
.Part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13,
Township 9 North, Range 32 West described as beginning at a point
420 feet west of the Northeast corner of the Northwest. Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter, thence South 315 feet, thence East 1080 feet,
thence South 40 feet, thence west 1,120 feet, thence North 355 feet,
thence'East 40 feet to the point of beginning
given to Crawford County, Arkansas by D. C. Hardin and Virgie Hardin, and
later given to the City of Van Buren by Crawford County,'be held at a meet-
ing of the Van Buren City Council on the 20th day of February, 1978, at 7:30
p.m. at the Municipal Council Room, at which time all persons interested will
be heard and a determination for whether said easement shall be vacated may
be made and the City Clerk is directed to give notice of such meeting by
publication of a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks prior to said
hearing. Said notice to be published in a newspaper published in the Van
Buren District of Crawford County, and having a general circulation in Van
Buren and in the form hereto attached.
ADOPTED at regular meeting of the City Council of.the City of Van Buren
on the 17th day of January, 1978.
