RESOLUTION NO. 7A -2 -1979
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO REMOVE THE STOP ORDER ON
.THE SEWER RELOCATION PROJECT IN THE CITY PARK AND NOTIFING THE NORTHSIDE CON=
STRUCTION COMPANY TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Van Buren, upon motion voted four
(4) in favor of and two (2) against, to proceed with the lake in the park with
the recreation aspects as planned.
WHEREAS', is necessary to take the preliminary steps to finalize the Flat
Rock Creek Water Shed Flood Project.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS,
THAT, the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to remove the stop order
on the Sewer Relocation Project in the City Park and notify the Northside
Construction Company to proceed with the work.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 19th OF-FEBRUARY, 1979.
