CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS
RESOLUTION NO. 9 11 -1981
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF VAN BUREN TO SERVE AS A SPONSOR
FOR THE KING OPERA HOUSE PLAYERS FOR THEIR GRANT APPLICATION.
WHEREAS, The King Opera House Players have qualified for a $700.00
grant from the State Arts Council for Fiscal Year 1981-
1982 grant period; and
WHEREAS, The City of Van Buren sponsored the King Opera House
Players last year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN
BUREN, ARKANSAS:
THAT, The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
make application to the State Arts Council for a $700.00
grant on behalf of the King Opera House Players.
