0 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF TIM BROWN FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
200 BLOCK OF WASHINGTON STREET, VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, The City of Van Buren, Arkansas, is the owner and holder of record
of fee simple title to certain real property located in the Project
Area; and
WHEREAS, The City of Van Buren, Arkansas, is authorized to sell individual
portions of land in the Project Area; and
WHEREAS, A public offering of the property located in the 200 Block of Wash-
ington Street on 4 -7 -83, in accordance with the approved land dis-
posal procedures; and
WHEREAS, On July 27, 1983, the City of Van Buren, Arkansas, received a bid
of $5,500.00 from Tim Brown; and
WHEREAS, The City of Van Buren finds it in the best interest of the City of
Van Buren to accept Tim Brown's bid on the Washington Street Property
in the amount of $5,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
THAT, The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Van Buren are hereby author-
ized to execute a Special Warranty Deed for the sale of the following
disposition parcel at the listed bid price:

Lots 1,2,3,4,5, and 6, 45,000 Sq. Ft. R -2 $5,500.00
Block 10, Knox Addition,
Van Buren, Crawford County,
Arkansas.
THAT, The acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved land
disposition program.
