ON 3 (THREE) NEW CARS. COMPANY

WHEREAS, The Mayor has advertised for bids on 3 (three) new cars;
and
WHEREAS, The following bids have been received:
CAR BID OF FIRM
1986 Dodge Diplomat 33,362.88 Breeden Dodge, Inc.
1986 Ford Crown Victoria's 34,038.00 Crawford County Motor Co.
1986 Chevrolet Caprice 35,803.23 Rhodes Chevrolet Co.
and,
WHEREAS, The Council feels that the bid of Crawford County Motor Co.
is the best bid:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS:
THAT, The bid of 34,038.00 of Crawford County Motor Co.
is the best bid and is accepted.
THAT, The Mayor is authorized and directed to purchase the same
out of the General Fund.
