RESOLUTION NO. 3 9 -1986
0 A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR ABANDONMENT OF AN UNNAMED STREET
LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 7 AND 8 OF MT. VISTA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Johnny McBride has, pursuant to Ark. Stats. 19 -3825, and
following, as amended, the same being Act 17 of 1945, as
amended, filed with the City Council of Van Buren, Craw-
ford County, Arkansas, a petition to vacate a portion of
the street, as hereinafter described, to wit:
An unnamed street lying between Blocks
7 and 8 of Mt. Vista Addition to the
City of Van Buren, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS:
THAT, a hearing upon said petition is hereby set for 7:00
o'clock P.M., on the 20th day of October, 1986, in the Council
Room of the City Hall at Van Buren, Arkansas, and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such meetings by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper qualified to publish legal notices, published in
Crawford County, Arkansas, with a general circulation in Van
Buren, Arkansas, therein setting out the name of the operator
who has signed the petition to vacate herein, the name and
description of the unnamed street to be considered for vacation,
advising all persons as to the time and place of the hearing to
determine whether such protion of street shall be vacated.
