RES NO 05-01-1987 J S CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS RESOLUTION NO. 1 5 1987 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO CARL W. REDDELL AND LINDA L. REDDELL. WHEREAS, Property located at 523 North 10th Street encroaches in the street platted as Creekmore Avenue; and WHEREAS, The building and driveway which are partially on City Right -of -Way have been in existance for many years; and WHEREAS, Carl W. Reddell and Linda L. Reddell have requested a Quit Claim Deed so that title questions can be resolved: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS: THAT, The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Carl L. Reddell and Linda L. Reddell for the 2 feet in Creekmore Avenue. Reddell and Linda L. Reddell, do hereby grant, sell and quit claim unto the said Carl W. Reddell and Linda L. Reddell, husband and wife, tenants by the entirety, and unto their heirs and assigns forever, the following lands lying in the County of Crawford, State of Arkansas, to -wit: A two foot strip of land 140 feet long, being a part of Creekmore Avenue, between Block 7 and Block 2, GRANDVIEW ADDITION to the City of Van Buren, Arkansas, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 1 of said Block 7, Grandview Addition; thence North 2.0 feet; thence West 140.0 feet; thence South 2.0 feet; thence East 140 feet to the point of beginning. To have and to hold the same unto the said Carl W. Reddell and Linda L. Reddell, and unto their heirs and assigns forever, with all appurtenances thereunto belonging.
