AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
AND ESTABLISHING THE ZONING THEREOF
WHEREAS, the following described property to -wit:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 11, Township 9 North, Range 32 West, Van Buren,
Crawford County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said South-
east Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence East along
the South line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter, 990.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence
North 1167.26 feet; thence North 08 degrees 30 minutes
00 seconds West 386.00 feet; thence North 71 degrees 05
minutes 00 seconds East 203.00 feet; thence North 54 degrees
35 minutes 00 seconds East 225.00 feet; thence East 15.29
feet; thence South 00 degrees 02 minutes 41 seconds East
391.37 feet; thence South 75 degrees 16 minutes 43 seconds
West 6.12 feet; thence South 02 degrees 11 minutes 14

is contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of Van
Buren, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, said annexation is in the best interest of the
City of Van Buren, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, all improvements on this property have either been
completed in accordance or will be in accordance with all guide-
lines established by the City of Van Buren, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, the Crawford County Court has authorized said
annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE
CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
That, the following described property to -wit:

be annexed to the City of Van Buren, Arkansas, and the same be
zoned R -2.
THAT, in order to insure the orderly growth of the City
of Van Buren, Arkansas, and in order to provide city services
for said lands and for all other reasons, the immediate passage
of this ordinance is necessary in order to preserve the public
peace, health, welfare and safety and the same shall take effect
and be in full force from and after its passage.
