RESOLUTION NO. 9— -1991
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS ON POLICE CARS
WHEREAS, The City has advertised for
bids for four (4) police cars;
and,
WHEREAS, Bids were received and opened
on the date and time advertised;
and,
WHEREAS, The bid of $61,264.00 by Natick
Ford of Natick, Massachusetts
is considered to be the best
bid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby
accepts the bid of
of Natick Ford of Natick,
Massachusetts, for four (4)
Ford LTD Crown Victoria police
cars and authorizes the Mayor
and City Clerk to purchase
said cars for the amount of
the bid, plus an additional
$450.00 per unit for transport.
