BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS, A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS,ALLOWING FOR THE DESTRUCTION
OF DUPLICATE CHECKS IN THE PAYROLL FUND
WHEREAS, The Van Buren City Clerk's office has found duplicate
check numbers on blank checks for the payroll fund that
need to be destroyed; and
WHEREAS, The Van Buren City Clerk's office intends to follow proper
guidelines regarding destruction of duplicated check
numbers 72601 through 7400 for the payroll fund bank
account ending in 9613.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VAN BUREN,ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Clerk's office is seeking approval to destroy checks numbered 72601
through 7400 from the payroll fund bank account ending in 9613.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Vauren,Arkansas, by its City Council, did
pass, approve, and adopt, by a vote of 5 for and.V against,the foregoing Resolution at its
regular meeting held on the 23rd day of March 2026.
