ORDINANCE NO. (o -1996
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 7 -1963 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Pamela A. Glass has submitted a Petition
to rezone the following property:
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1 I, Township 9 North,
Range 32 West, Crawford County, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter.
Thence along the East line of said Forty, South 01 degree 12 minutes 41 seconds East,
4710 feet to an existing iron pin and the Point of Beginning. Thence continue along said
East line and along an existing fence line, South 01 degree 12 minutes 41 seconds East,
270.19 feet to an existing iron pin and T -Post. Thence leaving said East line and said
fence line, South 89 degrees 24 minutes 48 seconds West, 320.40 feet to an X markedin
concrete on the center line of Granite Drive. Thence along said center line the following
bearings and distances: North 06 degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds West, 63.95 feet to a set
nail. North 00 degrees 05 minutes 56 seconds West, 203.97 feet to an existing nail.
Thence leaving said center line, North 88 degrees 57 minutes 04 seconds East, 322.30 feet
to the Point of Beginning, containing 2.00 acres and subject to Easements of Record.

according to the Flood Map for the cowNTY of CRAWFO9O Arkansas Community

from C -2 to R -1; and
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing has been pub-
lished in the newspaper as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, The Public Hearing has been held as re-
quired by law; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission recommended said
zone change.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the above described property is
hereby rezoned from C -2 to R -1 and the
Van Buren Zoning Map is amended to re-
flect this rezoning.
