Ms. Jett provided information that shows this property has been developed as a residential structure since 1902 when it was built. The property was zoned C-2 when zoning was first established in Van Buren and the C-2 zoning corridor was established on both sides of Broadway street. The surrounding properties include a commercial building and residential structures.The proposed zoning is consistent with the zoning of the adjacent residential properties.
