ORD NO 19-1997 CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. /9 -1997
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7 -1963 TO PROVIDE FOR A NEW
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN, ARKANSAS.
BE 11' ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VAN BUREN,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance 7- 1963, Article III, Section 2, Sub-
section 1 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"1. The boundaries of the zoning districts are
established as shown on the map entitled "Zoning
Map" of the City of Van Buren, Arkansas, dated
August 18, 1997, which is part of this Ordinance
and which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health, comfort, convenience, safety,
and welfare of the citizens of the City of Van Buren,
Arkansas, an emergency is declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall be in full force from the date of its
approval.
